HAMBURG, Germany -- Hamburger SV will be without Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy for Sunday's match at Bayern Munich.
Van Nistlerooy is nursing a thigh injury and says he will not be fit for the Bayern game.
Forward Mladen Petric could also miss the match with an ankle injury, while midfielder Marcell Jansen is doubtful because of illness.
Bayern is second in the standings and Hamburg is fourth.
