Ruud van Nistelrooy admits former Real Madrid teammate Rafael van der Vaart convinced him about joining Hamburg.
Van Nistelrooy rejected offers from Tottenham and West Ham United to sign with Hamburg yesterday.
"The Bundesliga represents a new challenge," said the Dutchman.
"Even my compatriot Rafael van der Vaart has convinced me that Hamburg was the right club for me." |
